MoiForYou is a deep passion for the ancient Rwanda art, rich in its elegance and reminiscent of the cows’ horns shapes and hills curves, expressing itself through graceful dances, enchanting poetry and enrobed in a garment of nobility and grace: the traditional "Imishanana".

 

Our inspiration is rooted in “Imigongo”, an art of the sixteenth century traditionally made by Rwandan women using cow dung, combining white and black, burgundy and black spiral and geometric patterns that lined the Rwandan Royal palaces.

 

Using Modern techniques such as laser cut, beading and crystal technique, our collection of exquisite lines of Haute Couture Mishanana, Kaftan and Jalaba, bubu, men’s shirts and accessories, and special wear occasion are created in the most luxurious silk, Chiffon, crepe, raw silk and fixture our signature, bespoke print and stoning embellishment and embroideries we have become world renowned for.

 

Fabrics print and embellishments are our masterpieces’ cornerstone, inspired by our love for traditional attire, and a vision to build a sustainable business model for future generations.

 

Conjugating tradition and modernity, we carefully handcraft each piece of our collection which carries in its substance the richness of an ageless ancestral art passed down from generation to generation by women.
